Located in the village of Trumpington on the outskirts of Cambridge, The Green Man is easily accessible from the centre of Cambridge and beyond.
If you’re travelling by train, the closest railway station is Great Shelford. There are also plenty of regular local bus services serving the area.
The Trumpington Park and Ride scheme offers easy and convenient access to Cambridge city centre.

Keeping Busy in Trumpington
The historic city of Cambridge is renowned all over the world thanks to its iconic university. But the area has so much more to offer. With an array of beautiful museums and art galleries, quaint passageways offering a unique shopping experience, and more, there really is something for everyone.
Of course, no visit to Cambridge would be complete without exploring some of the world famous, historic college buildings. A walking tour is a great way to do this, allowing you to learn about the history of the city and the university as you go.
Other key attractions include the Cambridge Science Centre, The Backs, the Mathematical Bridge, and Jesus Green. Shepwreth Wildlife Park is also close by – your little ones will love meeting the animals, including tigers and monkeys!
Or, if the sun is shining, go punting on the river Cam, take a walking tour of the city, or enjoy a picnic in the park. Then, head to The Green Man to continue the fun in our lovely beer garden.
